It is that time of year again, and Spotify Wrapped has arrived; therefore, here is a slideshow explanation of what it is all about, including how to figure out turning the minutes into hours.

The annual feature of the steaming giant reveals the songs you’ve played the most over the course of the year, regardless of whether they are bangers or guilty pleasures – there is no hiding from it.

You may be wondering what you can anticipate seeing in the slideshow that Spotify Wrapped creates for you each year. We are going to explain everything that is important for you to know.

The Spotify Wrapped 2022 album is now available.

Now that the personalized music experience is finally available, Spotify’s 456 million monthly listeners around the world can use Spotify Wrapped to take a comprehensive look back at their year in music.

The annual feature is activated by Spotify tracking what users have been listening to from January until October; however, November and December are not included in the tally, so you should listen to any embarrassing songs before those months pass.

This feature not only keeps track of the songs, but also each of the user’s listening habits, allowing users to gain insight into their “listening personality.”

Spotify Explanatory slideshow that was wrapped up

Your Spotify Wrapped slideshow is a visual representation of all the songs, artists, podcasts, and other content that you listened to throughout the year. These items are displayed on cards.

In most cases, the deck of cards is organized according to the following categories:
Minutes Listened
Top Song
Top Songs
Audio Aura
Top Genre
Top Podcast
The Best Artist
The Best Artists

This year in addition to the Listening Personality cards and the Audio Day cards, there are also the Audio Day cards.

Your Listening Personality is not only determined by the music you’ve listened to, but also by what your listening habits reveal about your musical preferences. This year during Wrapped, the feature is showcasing 16 different Listening Personality types that Spotify created for 2022 Wrapped.

Audio Day is a narrative experience that allows you to explore how your musical preferences changed throughout the course of a single day.

Conversion from minutes to hours was handled by Spotify.

One of the things that Spotify Wrapped does is inform users of the total number of minutes they have spent listening to music through the Spotify app.

You could do the math yourself if you wanted to figure out how many hours these minutes turned into, or you could go to a website like Calculator Soup that will do the work for you for free and figure it out for you automatically.

This year, if you listened to 19,380 minutes worth of music on Spotify, you will have listened to 323 hours of music. In terms of days, this amounts to little less than two weeks of continuous streaming.
