If you’re an Apple Music user, odds are you felt a bit left out for years when all your Spotify-subscribed friends began posting their Spotify Wrapped statistics around November and December Thankfully, Apple Music was able to partially address that problem by introducing Apple Music Replay in 2019, but even after its launch several years ago, the service is still falling behind its primary rival in a number of important respects.

The fact that users must access Replay through their internet browser, in addition to the shallowness of the service, is a bit of a letdown for Apple Music Replay. Naturally, ever-ruthless users online have been making some pretty hilarious memes about Apple Music Replay, and we’ve compiled the best ones for you to enjoy.

When it comes to the conflict between Apple Music Replay and Spotify Wrapped, these memes make it abundantly clear which side the internet supports.

Considering the aforementioned design flaws that Apple Music Replay has, the internet at large has taken to memeing the service quite a bit on social media. Thankfully, it has resulted in the creation of some jokes that people who use Apple Music can still find amusing.

When it comes to jokes that users made about the service, Apple Music Replay’s awkward design and its inability to function as a native extension of the service’s primary app were both fair game. Some people have even compared it to the age-old argument between Apple and Android (with Apple losing this time around).

“The enthusiasm with which Apple Music users post their’replay’ is comparable to that of an Android user who is attempting to persuade you that their device is superior to an iPhone,”
tweeted
a single user.

When it comes to the specific details that Spotify Wrapped shares, such as whether or not you’re in an artist’s top percent of listeners, it seems as though a lot of the jokes about Apple Music Replay revolve around the fact that it leaves people feeling left out. This is true even taking into account the app’s poor design.

“I find it hard to believe that Apple Music does not offer a service that can adequately compete with Spotify Wrapped. The replay is such a chore,”
said
one user on Twitter in a very serious manner.

Apple Music Replay has already come a long way in the short three years that it has been available to users, despite the fact that it does not contain all of the completely flushed-out capabilities that are available in Spotify Wrapped. To view your Apple Music Replay, go to the website, then sign in using the credentials you use to access Apple Music, and you will be able to examine the music that you have listened to throughout the past year.
